Reviews
This was a most engaging visit. You can see the castle as you approach for miles before.
Entrance was a quite reasonable €7, for an adult. The exhibits were very interesting and showed many different castle in various styles. I'd love to know where they found the modern video of craftsmen building a castle using traditional tools and techniques; fascinating.
The only reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is that the info panels are only in German. The upside is that there is good 4G in most areas and Google translate works!
To bad it is so expensive to do a castle tour
A verry beautyfull castel end a good relaxing place going back in time.
Great restoration. Unfortunately not a word in English .

Nice museum with friendly staff. The focus is more on life in castles and the importance of castles, rather than on the architectural style or the development of fortress construction.
Free parking spaces are available within walking distance.
